According to TechCrunch report today, eBay is finally launching its rewards program – eBay Bucks, which allows any eBay shopper who lives in the U.S. and is a registered member of the marketplace, to earn 2 percent cash back on most items purchased through the site with PayPal.

Consumers can earn “eBay Bucks” made both on eBay’s website and via its many mobile apps. If you join, you’ll automatically accrue rewards in the form of eBay Bucks based on your qualifying purchases. Qualifying purchases excludes all classifieds, business & industrial capital equipment, real estate, and eBay motors categories (except parts & accessories). Upon the completion of each calendar quarter, the eBay Bucks you earned over that 3 month period will be issued to you in the form of an eBay Bucks Certificate. Then you have 30 days to redeem eBay Bucks towards purchases with PayPal on eBay.com. Enrollment in eBay Bucks reward program is free. Participants must be a legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older with a valid Paypal account.
