As we all konw that Microsoft's next-generation web browser - the final version of Windows Internet Explorer 8 (abbreviated IE8) is released on March 19, 2009.

Internet Explorer 8 is supported on Windows Vista, XP, 2000, 2003 and is freeware. Some features are similar to firefox and even more powerful. I had used for several months and no bugs appeared, the speed is faster than before.

So, in my view, IE 8 is more powerful than firefox. what about you?

i would say IE8 is more stable than Firefox,
but the Firefox addons are very useful.

I think Firefox is more powerful browser as compared to Internet Explorer 8. You can add plenty of addons and themes in it which looks awesome.

There's no comparision of firefox with IE, cuz Firefox is not just updating itself continuously but its also very handy and user-friendly with compared to IE

firefox is the best browser at present, cannot say if ie versions come up with new features and enhancements so wait until you finalized with browsers

Microsoft has made a lot of improvements. Still to me , Firefox is a far stronger browser than IE8. IE is a lot slower than firefox.

Firefox all the way. It's not the fastest though. Google Chrome is by-far faster than Firefox but still in it's BETA stage. ATM Firefox is the best possible browser to go with. It's open source, very well-known, many add-ons for it, fast, and stable. But no doubt Firefox is faster than IE like light is faster than sound :/

Yes, IE 8 is more faster than Firefox, I always use Internet Explorer its very fast than other browser and its also very easy to use.In this browser many tools are best for use.

I am using Firefox and it is still better than other new browsers fast and secure.
